Lucky Local. Lottery Charity outreach

A new UK weekly charity lottery

The lottery built so the money stays local.

At least 40% of every pound played goes to good causes — and that share is locked by charity law to the area it was raised in. It cannot be redirected elsewhere.

Why you've heard from us

You received an email because we'd like your charity on our founding list.

We're inviting smaller, well-governed local charities — the ones doing real work that large national funders often overlook — to join the founding group for launch. We found your charity through the publicly available Charity Commission Register of Charities. There is:

  • No cost and nothing to sign. Being on our founding list commits you to nothing.
  • No administration. We operate the entire lottery — you don't run a draw, handle players, or manage money.
  • No obligation to promote. If you'd like to tell your supporters once we launch, you can — but you don't have to.

Prefer not to hear from us? Reply “unsubscribe” to any of our emails, or email hello@luckylocalcharityoutreach.co.uk, and we'll remove your details straight away.

How it will work

Simple to play, local by design.

1

Enter by text

Players enter by SMS and pay securely by card. No app, no account to manage.

2

Win & give locally

Every entry runs a national draw and a draw for the player's own area — with prizes won, and good causes funded, close to home.

3

Locked in charity law

The minimum 40% charity share, and its commitment to each local area, is written into a charitable constitution — not left to company policy.

Who we are

Full transparency, on the record.

We know charities receive a lot of unsolicited mail, and that an offer involving money is exactly what should make you cautious. So here is exactly who is contacting you.

Privacy & your data

What we hold, and how to have it removed.

What we use. Your charity's name, registered number, area and publicly listed contact email — taken from the Charity Commission's published Register of Charities. We do not buy lists or use personal data beyond a published organisational contact.

Why we may contact you. We contact registered charities about a funding opportunity directly relevant to their work, on the basis of legitimate interest in business-to-business communication. Every email carries a clear, one-click way to opt out.

How to opt out or ask a question. Reply “unsubscribe” to any email, or write to hello@luckylocalcharityoutreach.co.uk. You can also ask us what we hold about your charity or request its deletion at the same address, and we'll action it promptly.

We will publish a full privacy notice and our charity-onboarding terms ahead of launch. Until then, the contact above reaches us directly.
